August Update: Pledge Manager Closing

Pledge Manager Has Closed:

If you still haven't filled out and completed your pledge manager, please do so. We're still short about 200 responses. 

Thanks to the 1200+ of you who have already filled it out — you'll be able to change your address and other info until a few weeks before we begin shipping, so don't worry if you move between now and delivery.

Project Status:

• We've selected a manufacturer and are getting manufacturing lined up. 
• Layout and ability confirmation is being done on the Kickstarter promo items.
• Stretch goal content is nearly final:  endings are written for all the co-op missions, rules for the 2p variant for competitive are in progress, and we just got art back for the shark token that was added via backer vote.

Initial pledge management surveys will be sent to the email linked to your Kickstarter address with the subject "Response Needed -- Get your reward for The Refuge: Terror from the Deep" — if you do not receive one, make sure you check your spam filters.

Using the Pledge Manager:

In the pledge manager, you'll already have been given credit for the pledge level you selected during the campaign, but will need to select add-ons such as the Neoprene mat or other B&B Games titles yourself.

Find us at GenCon Booth 275:

If you're attending GenCon, come find B&B Games Studio at Booth 275 to check out The Refuge: Terror from the Deep in person! We'll also have our new title Folded Wishes on display — which you can preorder directly in the pledge manager for this campaign.

Folded  Wishes is an abstract game about folding origami for 2-4  players. The first player with all four of their animals in a line wins.

To  succeed, you'll need to fold your way through an ever-changing grid of  paper patterns and earn the skills needed to make your folds even more  powerful.

WE DID IT!

One final amazing thanks to all you backers for diving in with us on this campaign!

Pledge Manager:

Soon, we'll open pledge management through Backerkit, which will collect final shipping info and similar.

Look for an email (we'll also post an update here) when that goes live. Your pledge will transfer over as credits, so if you had pledged $100, it will turn into $100 credits in Backerkit. You use that credit to reconfirm what you backed on Kickstarter, as well as upgrade your pledge or add other titles from B&B Games Studos

100K! Thanks so much to all our backers who have supported us!

It's the final day of the dive and we just want to thank everyone again for helping unlock so many stretch goals and make this an INCREDIBLE game experience.

With your pledges, we've more than doubled the amount of co-op missions, added two new characters, a new Kraken AI, upgraded pretty much every component in the box, and unlocked two awesome kickstarter exclusives: the art book, which is free for every backer, and the playmat which you can add onto your pledge!

With <30 hours to, we're nearing the end of our dive.

Since the B&B Team can't give every backer a hug, I guess the Kraken will have to do it for us:

We're going to need a bigger submarine...

The winner of our backer poll was "Defeat the Megashark", narrowly beating out "Disarm a Floating Minefield" for the 19th objective spot for Cooperative Dives. Thanks to all the backers who voted in the poll!

Now we will get to work on designing the Shark objective. We have some pretty sweet ideas already... and we'll definitely post up the shark art when we get it after the campaign!

Playmat — full board image:

I've had a few requests for a full image of the board so people can see what the playmat might look like. We won't have full playmat samples until after the campaign, but we're pretty excited about having them available, especially since you slide the Kraken head and tentacles around quite a lot in cooperative!

We may add some additional water and border illustrations around the edge for the playmat, but the board looks something like this:
